Maciej Nykiel

Maciej Nykiel is an accomplished executive in the travel and leisure industry, currently serving as CEO of Nekera since February 2020, where a new travel e-commerce platform has been developed to enhance offerings across the Mediterranean. Prior to this role, Nykiel was the CEO of Neckermann Podróże, where revenue growth and operational efficiency were prioritized. Nykiel also held the position of Managing Director and Board Member at Fly.pl Sp z o.o., focusing on company reconstruction and strategic development. From 2001 to 2010, Nykiel was the E-Commerce Director at TUI Poland, overseeing significant sales channels and managing a 20-person team. Nykiel began their career as Content Director at Travelplanet.pl SA, co-founding a notable Polish internet travel agency. Nykiel holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from the University of Lodz, specializing in Foreign Trade.
