Dave Jacobs

Dave Jacobs has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Senior Research Associate at Nektar Therapeutics since March 2011. Prior to that, they worked as an Analytical Research Scientist at KV Pharmaceuticals in 2008-2009. Before that, Dave was a Scientist IV at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals from September 2004 to November 2008, where they made significant contributions such as streamlining the process of characterization, purification, and distribution of synthetic organic compounds. Dave also developed and directed the operation of a robotic liquid handling system for salt selection and stable form screening. Dave's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Medical Research Technician at Washington University in St. Louis from August 1996 to January 2002, where they developed an enzyme assay that led to NIH funding and performed various molecular biology techniques and protein analysis.

Dave Jacobs attended the University of Missouri-Saint Louis from 1987 to 1989, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics, Mathematics, and Astronomy.
