Espen Brathaug

Espen Brathaug has extensive work experience in the engineering and project management fields. Espen currently holds the position of Head of Project Engineering at Nel Hydrogen since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Aker Solutions for over 15 years, holding various roles including Head of System Integration & Installation / Head of System Engineering, Manager of System Engineering, and Project Engineering Manager/ Specialist Engineer. Before joining Aker Solutions, Espen worked briefly at FMC Technologies as a Project Planner/Maintenance Engineer. Espen also served as an Army Officer in the Norwegian Army from 1998 to 2003.

Espen Brathaug completed their education at Oslo and Akershus University College from 2003 to 2005, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to that, they attended Hærens Våpentekniske Fagskole from 1995 to 1998, where they studied Mechanical, Logistics, and Management, although they did not receive a specific degree from this institution.
