Hallgeir Øya

Hallgeir Øya has a diverse range of work experience, primarily in the fields of hydrogen technology and logistics. Hallgeir held the position of VP Advanced Product Development at Nel Hydrogen from 2016 until the present. Prior to that, they worked as the Logistics Manager at Nel Hydrogen from 2016 to 2016. Hallgeir served as the Chairman of the Board at ServicePartner Notodden AS from 2014 to 2016. From 2011 to 2015, they were a Senior Advisor at DOVRE/Gassnova. Hallgeir also has significant experience at Hydrogen Technologies AS, where they were the CEO from 2007 to 2011 and the Director of the Project Department from 2005 to 2007. Hallgeir worked as the Director of the Logistics Department at Norsk Hydro Electrolysers AS from 1997 to 2005. Hallgeir began their career at Norsk Hydro as a Lead Engineer and Project Manager from 1993 to 1997 and later worked as a Project Manager and Engineer from 1986 to 1993.

Hallgeir Øya obtained a Bachelor's degree in High tension voltage and distribution from the University of Stavanger, where they studied from 1981 to 1984.
