Safat Hossain

Safat Hossain is a Project Engineer and Mechanical Engineer at Nel Hydrogen since September 2019, with prior experience as a Mechanical Engineer at Thermatool, where responsibilities included mechanical design and product management for cutting and saw products. Safat also served as a Mechanical Design Engineer at MARS FOUNDATION, contributing to the design of Solidworks models for architectural structures and vehicles aimed at Mars settlement. Additional experience includes a role as a Student Caller at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, engaging with alumni for event updates and fundraising, and as a Manufacturing Technician at Metso, focusing on valve manufacturing and standardizing CNC and manual machine operations. Safat holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, completed in 2016, and a High School Diploma from Scholastica.
