Chad Hartnett has extensive experience in financial leadership roles, starting in 1992 as a Staff Auditor at Ernst & Young. Chad then worked as an Audit Senior at Deloitte before becoming an Audit Manager at Frankel Zacharia LLC. In 1998, they joined HDR as Treasurer, VP & Controller, and stayed there until 2016. During this time, they became the Chief Financial Officer at Scooter's Coffee from 2016 to 2020. In 2020, they held multiple roles, including being the Chief Executive Officer at CH Consulting, a Fractional CFO at AIM Institute, and a Fractional CFO at New Ag Basics, LLC. Currently, they are serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Credit Information Systems and will be assuming the same role at Nelnet Renewable Energy in 2023.
Chad Hartnett obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in the years 1988 to 1992. Chad also holds the certification of Certified Public Accountant (CPA), obtained in the year 1998.
