Janilyn Akagi

Janilyn Akagi is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in various senior roles across multiple financial institutions. Currently serving as a Senior Accounting Manager at Nelnet Bank since July 2022, Janilyn has previously held the position of Accounting Manager at Select Portfolio Servicing and served in multiple capacities, including Controller and Accounting Manager at Comenity Capital Bank. Prior experience includes being an Associate at Goldman Sachs and a Senior Accountant at Sallie Mae, among other roles. Janilyn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Utah, furthering expertise through education at the David Eccles School of Business.
