Maria Chu

Maria Chu has extensive experience in the publishing industry, currently serving as a Content Development Manager at Nelson Education since December 2012. Prior to this role, Maria worked at McGraw-Hill Ryerson from April 1999 to November 2012, progressing from a Developmental Editor to a Senior Developmental Editor. In these positions, Maria managed the development process of textbooks and digital supplements, created and led a mentorship program, hired and trained interns, and ensured project timelines were met. Maria also held the role of Interim Manager of the Development Editing team, overseeing management duties during that time. Maria holds a Diploma in Management Studies with a focus on Marketing from the Hong Kong Management Association and Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
