Nathan Rice

Nathan Rice has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Nathan currently works at Nelson as a Creative Lead in the Edwin Content Experience team, collaborating with editors, publishers, and educators to create dynamic learning experiences. Prior to this, they were an Educational Consultant and Learning Experience Designer at UpstartED, where they provided consultation for flagship programs and created digital assets for branding. Nathan also has experience as a Freelance Web Designer and Videographer. Earlier in their career, Nathan worked as an educator at Calvary Christian Academy and Calvary Christian High School, where they designed curriculum, organized fundraising events, and coached sports teams. Nathan also worked as a Golf Teaching Professional at Anderson Links Golf Course and Evergreen Golf Course. In addition, they co-founded AssemblyPad and served as a Lead Educational Consultant. Nathan also founded Free The Numbum and worked as a Lead Developer. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Outdoor Education Facilitator at Camp IAWAH and as a Youth Program Coordinator at Country Roads Community Health Centre.

Nathan Rice completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physical Education and Kinesiology at Brock University from 2004 to 2008. Nathan then pursued a Bachelor of Education in Health and Physical Education/Fitness at Nipissing University from 2008 to 2009.
