Adrian McDonald

Adrian McDonald has had a varied work experience, starting with their current role as the Lead Cloud Engineer at Nelson Enterprise Technology Services (NETS), where they oversee a team of system administrators providing cloud services to the United States Air Force Academy. Prior to this, Adrian worked as a Cloud System Administrator at the United States Air Force Academy and as a Directory Services Administrator/Network and Boundary Administrator at Valdez International Corporation. Adrian also gained experience as a System Administrator at Snap Kitchen and as a Service Desk Technician at AZZ Incorporated. Adrian's earlier work experience includes roles as a PC Support Specialist at Crown Lift Trucks, where they handled help desk duties, resolved issues, and managed communications with branches and headquarters. Adrian also served as a Forklift Technician, traveling to customer locations to troubleshoot and fix forklift issues.

Adrian McDonald obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology Security from Western Governors University from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned an Associate's degree in Network Administration from Dallas College between 2010 and 2011. In 2005 and 2006, they also obtained an Associate's degree in Automotive Technology from Universal Technical Institute. Adrian has obtained several certifications, including Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) in 2016, Advanced Security for Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (210-260) IINS in 2018, and Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA Routing and Switching) in 2018. Adrian also holds certifications in A+ and CompTIA Network+ ce in 2017 and 2016, respectively. Adrian has additional certifications in CompTIA Project, CompTIA Security+, and Microsoft Certified Professional: Windows 7 Configuration.
