Matthew Smith

Matthew Smith is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in exhibition design, architectural design, and project management. Currently serving as the Manager of Exhibition Design and Head Exhibition Designer at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art since January 2014, Matthew also operates DesignerSmith Studios, LLC, a design consulting firm that provides graphic, photographic, and architectural design services. In addition to roles at Woodside as an Indoor Cycling Instructor and as a freelance designer, Matthew has held project management positions with Dungan Design Group, LLC, and PGAV, where significant contributions were made to various architectural projects for notable clients. Matthew began the career in mechanical design at KLG Vandenbulck. Matthew holds a Master's degree in Architecture from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
