Molly McVey

Molly McVey is an experienced museum professional currently serving as the Associate Registrar for Database Administration at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art since July 2025. In this role, Molly oversees the administration of TMS and eMuseum, managing internal viewings, object movement, inventory spot-checks, and loan processes for temporary exhibitions. Prior to this position, Molly worked as a Senior Registrar at the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art, where responsibilities included the oversight of collection object handling and condition reporting, as well as roles as Interim Senior Registrar and Assistant Registrar. Earlier experience includes positions in communications, management, and various internships focused on collections processing, digitization, and visitor services. Molly holds a Master of Arts in Museum Science and Management from The University of Tulsa and a Bachelor's Degree in 2-D Studio Art with a focus in Photography from Pittsburg State University.
