Desireé Abdelkader

Desireé Abdelkader, MBA, currently serves as a Marketing Assistant at NELSON + POPE since February 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Admin Lead and Customer Relations Specialist at Orkin from January 2022 to February 2023, as well as positions at Hofstra University, where Desireé worked as a Business Consultant, Graduate Research Assistant, and Entrepreneur Graduate Student Mentor from May 2021 to January 2022. Earlier experience includes a Social Media Marketing internship at The Cookie Jar Spa & Boutique and an Associate Editor at the Hofstra University Journal of International Business and Law. Desireé earned a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from Hofstra University and holds an Advanced Certificate in Business Leadership. Additionally, a Master of Social Work was obtained from Adelphi University, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology was awarded by the State University of New York at Old Westbury.
