Morgan Garand

Morgan Garand, CPHR, SHRM-SCP, currently serves as Human Resources Supervisor at Nelson River Construction Inc. since June 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Human Resource and Professional Development Coordinator at PCL Construction from May 2017 to June 2022, and Human Resources Supervisor at AGI Westfield from November 2013 to May 2017, where responsibilities included oversight of HR and HSE departments and support for employees and managers. Morgan began a career in HR as a Generalist at Nelson River Construction Inc. from May 2008 to November 2013 and also worked as a Scale Employee and Aggregate Sampler. Academic qualifications include a Business Commerce (Honours) Degree with a focus on Human Resource Management/Industrial Relations from the University of Manitoba, a Business Administration Diploma from Red River College Polytechnic, and ongoing studies in the Indigenous Canada Certificate program at the University of Alberta.
