Bill Schwartz

Bill Schwartz is the current AICP and Principal at Nelson\Nygaard. Prior to this, they were the Sr. Vice President, Transportation Practice Lead at The Collaborative Inc from May 2006 to July 2018. In this role, they managed the transportation consulting practice and oversaw multiple contracts with the Federal Transit Administration and MassDOT. Bill Schwartz has also worked as the Regional Director of Business Development for Neighborhood America from January 2005 to December 2006 and the Transportation Planning Manager for Louis Berger Group, Inc. from January 2002 to December 2005. Bill started their career as a Senior Associate at Cambridge Systematics from January 1993 to December 2001.

Bill Schwartz received their BA in Government and Geography from Clark University and their MS in Transportation from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Bill Schwartz reports to Theresa Carr, AICP, Principal, Boston Office Leader. They work with Keaton Wetzel - Associate, Yanisa Techagumthorn - Associate, and Matt Smith - Principal.
