Don Dessario

Overseeing the mixed use practice in Calgary, Don brings a wealth of technical insight to the design and construction of architectural projects. With proven building technology experience, Don has his finger on the pulse of building sciences including passive house design and production approaches. Apart from building sciences, Don also possesses extensive knowledge in consultant coordination, strategic cost control, constructability, project assessments and quality assurance. His solutions-driven approach to project management has proven to be a vital success factor for numerous projects during design development and construction phases.

Combining the technical with thought leadership, Don has a client-centric philosophy, putting as much effort into the development of the project as he does to client relationships and collaboration. A well-recognized and respected figure in the Calgary building and development industry, Don has been an active member of several boards including: Canadian Homebuilders Association – Calgary Region (2009 President), BILD Calgary, OAA/RAIC Conference Board and the Calgary Stampede Board. When not at NORR, you can find Don spending time with his family, or giving back to the local community through his multiple volunteering endeavors.
