Nina Harvey Schatmeier

Nina Harvey Schatmeier is a Principal at Nelson\Nygaard Consulting Associates since June 2021, with extensive experience in urban, transportation, and master planning projects across the US and internationally. Currently serving as a Board Member and Professional Development Co-Chair for APA Los Angeles, Nina previously held roles at Arup as an Associate and Senior Planner from August 2008 to May 2021. With a strong background in project management, research, technical writing, and GIS, Nina has contributed to various projects, including airport planning and corridor studies. Nina also chaired the mentoring committee for the Women's Transportation Seminar, fostering professional development for women in the field. Academic credentials include a M.S. in Transportation Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a M.U.P. in Physical Planning from the University of Michigan.
