Yanisa Techagumthorn

Yanisa believes in people-focused mobility and ensuring that the shift to a more multimodal world is inclusive of all communities. She brings skills in research, GIS, and data storytelling, as well as knowledge about the historical impacts of 20th century transportation changes on marginalized groups. Before joining Nelson\Nygaard, Yanisa worked on transportation policy at the U.S. Department of Transportation Volpe Center, as well as research projects at MIT related to implementing transit-oriented development and assessing the impacts of highway and transit changes on Boston’s low-income neighborhoods.
