Zainab Attarwala

Zainab Attarwala is a dedicated professional with a diverse background in social media marketing, human rights advocacy, and education. Currently serving as a Social Media Marketing specialist at Nemat International, Inc. since August 2021, and as the owner of Swirled Gourmet Sweets since July 2020, Zainab also completed an internship in human rights at The Freedom Hub from February 2023 to March 2024. Responsibilities included advocating for a victim/survivor-centered approach to modern slavery and assisting with training sessions and community events. Zainab has gained research experience as a Research Assistant at UCLA and previously managed social media for Saheli NGO. Zainab’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science/International Relations from UCLA and an Associate in Arts in Political Science from Ohlone College, along with a high school diploma from Moreau Catholic High School.
