Brent Merriam

Brent Merriam has extensive experience in various leadership roles in the outdoor equipment industry. Brent started their career at Questech Corporation, where they served as the Vice President of R&D from 1996 to 1999. Brent then joined Burton Snowboards as the Business Unit Director of Bindings, where they successfully increased the company's US market share from 41% to nearly 60% over a five-year period.

In 2005, Brent joined Novation North America, Inc. as the Vice President and COO, providing general management and leadership for the company. Brent then moved on to NEMO Equipment, where they held several positions, including Senior Director of Sales and Vice President of Sales and Operations. In these roles, Brent developed and managed sales strategies, cultivated key accounts, and oversaw product line strategies and supply chain management. Brent played a significant role in the company's growth, achieving average annualized growth of 34% from 2012 to 2017 and supporting 148% growth from 2022 to 2022.

Throughout their career, Brent demonstrated their ability to translate vision and strategy into organized actions, build and coach high-performing teams, establish strong partnerships, and navigate challenges such as the pandemic.

Brent Merriam has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Engineering Sciences from Dartmouth College. Brent also has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth. Additionally, they hold a Master of Business Administration degree in Entrepreneurship from the University of New Hampshire.
