Luke Scotton has a diverse work experience in the design and development of outdoor equipment. Luke is currently working as a Product Developer at NEMO Equipment since 2022. Prior to that, Luke worked at Eastern Mountain Sports for three years starting in 2019 as an Industrial Designer. In this role, they handled the design and development of EMS branded technical equipment, focusing on concept ideation, prototyping, and clear communication with manufacturing partners. Luke also played a key role in redefining the design ethos of the brand's hardgoods. Before joining Eastern Mountain Sports, Luke worked at Boa Technology from 2015 to 2018. Initially, they served as a Prototyper where they were responsible for creating 3D wearable prototypes utilizing industrial sewing and shoe building machines. In this role, they contributed to notable projects such as the New Balance 1500T2 racing flat prototype. Luke then took on the role of Prototype Technician. Additionally, Luke gained experience as a Product Development Intern at Eastern Mountain Sports in 2015 and as a Softgoods Design Intern at BlueKiwi from 2013 to 2015. Luke started their career as a Shop Monitor at Philadelphia University in 2012. Throughout their various roles, Luke demonstrated their expertise in product development, prototyping, and design.

Luke Scotton attended Philadelphia University from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Product Design. In 2012, they also had the opportunity to study abroad for a semester at NABA Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, but the end year for this experience is unknown.
