Eddie Szmalko

Eddie Szmalko is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Managing Director at both NEN Consulting and New Energy Networks since October 2018, and previously as Director and Executive Manager at New Energy Ventures. From June 2007 to December 2016, Eddie held various positions at Jemena, including Commercial Projects and Partnerships Manager, where responsibilities included managing major electricity customers and developing commercial operations. Eddie's earlier roles included Programme Manager and Project Manager at Alinta Energy, Project Manager at United Energy and Multinet Gas, and Project Engineer at Logica. Eddie holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications, and IT from Victoria University, completed between 1993 and 1997.
