Derek Duchesne has worked in a variety of roles over the past 23 years. In 1998, they worked as an Assembler at New England Small Tube. In 2006, they worked as a Production Planner and Master Scheduler at Materion Barr Precision Optics and Thin Film Coating Group, where they managed daily and weekly production schedules, set daily priorities in various manufacturing departments, and facilitated production scheduling meetings. In 2014, they worked as a Team Lead at UltraSource Inc. and as a Sr Planner at School Specialty, Inc. In 2019, they worked as a Production Planner at Materion Corporation. Currently, they are the Director of Operations at Neo Cybernetica, a next-gen cybernetics start-up backed by a few top-tier investors.
