Anouk Mertens

Anouk Mertens currently serves as Global CEO of NEO Studios since January 2020 and is the Chair of the Board of Directors at Vlaams Audiovisueel Fonds since March 2021. Additionally, Mertens is a member of the Board of Directors at Mediahuis nv since July 2022. Prior roles include Eleven Group Head of Studios and COO at ELEVEN SPORTS HQ, as well as Managing Director for Belgium & Luxembourg at the same company from September 2015 to September 2022. From December 2011 to September 2015, Mertens was the Managing Director of Audiovisual at Sanoma Media, responsible for establishing a new audiovisual department and developing a cross-platform video strategy. Mertens’ experience also includes significant positions at Telenet, Broodkast, and Uniskill, in addition to earlier educational pursuits at universities such as the University of Antwerp and Hasselt University.
