Taylor McGann

Taylor McGann has a diverse range of work experience in the software engineering field. Most recently, Taylor worked as a Contract Software Engineer at Neo.Tax starting in October 2022. Prior to that, Taylor served as the Founder and Head of Engineering at KidCulture since April 2021.

In 2021, Taylor also worked as a Contract Software Engineer at Taylor McGann Consulting, where they collaborated with product and engineering heads to rebuild a marketing website using Next.js/Vercel. They integrated it with an in-house API and a headless CMS.

Before that, Taylor founded Taskfolio in September 2020 and worked there until February 2021.

From October 2018 to September 2020, Taylor worked as a Lead Software Engineer at Claravine, where they collaborated with the co-founder to close a $120k contract. They also developed custom integrations and built internal querying APIs and data processing pipelines.

Taylor had previous experience at Dwelo, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer from September 2016 to September 2018 and as a Software Engineer from July 2015 to August 2016.

Additionally, Taylor worked as a Consultant at Pariveda Solutions from August 2013 to June 2015, and as a Lead Software Engineer at Business Credentialing Services from September 2012 to May 2013.

Taylor began their career as a Consultant Intern at Pariveda Solutions in May 2012, where they developed a cross-platform mobile app, designed a solution library, and worked on a team to synchronize calendars, contacts, notes, and tasks.

Lastly, Taylor started their professional journey as a QA Engineer at Palantir Technologies from May 2011 to May 2012.

Taylor McGann earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Systems from Brigham Young University from 2006 to 2013. During the same period, Taylor also pursued a Master's degree in Information Systems Management from the same institution.
