Viksit Puri

Viksit Puri is a Director of Sales Engineering West at Neo4j. Viksit has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry and has worked with some of the biggest names in the business including Oracle, Cisco Systems, and Cloud Lending, Inc.

Viksit started their career as a software engineer with CMC Ltd in 1998 and worked their way up to senior SC architect/principal technologist at Oracle by 2001. In this role, they drove architecture and design guidance, performance tuning assistance, and high availability on Oracle technology stack - Oracle Database, RAC, DataGuard, Exadata and JEE technologies.

From 2012 to 2013, Viksit worked as a technical leader at Cisco Systems where they led the database development team for embedding Oracle Database in Prime Infrastructure for functions like automatic backup/restore, data data pruning, upgrades, performance tuning, diagnostics and high availability.

Most recently, Viksit served as the Tech. Lead at Cloud Lending, Inc. (formerly MFiFlex) from 2013 to 2014.

Viksit holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology.

Viksit Puri attended San Jose State University, where they earned their MS in computer engineering. Viksit also holds a B. Engg. in electronics from Savitribai Phule Pune University.

Viksit Puri reports to Magnus Vejlstrup, VP, Engineering. Viksit Puri works with Jennifer Adams - Director of Engineering, Ravi Ramanathan - VP, Sales Engineering, Americas, and Ed Crowther - Director of Sales Engineering.
