Jean-François Mallet has extensive work experience in various roles. Jean-François started their career at PSA Peugeot Citroën in 1989, where they held roles as a Change Management Consultant, Business Unit Head, Business Unit Manager, and Senior Project Manager. Jean-François then founded Asia Europe Consulting in 2004 before joining PSA Peugeot Citroën again as a Senior Project Manager and later as a Project Quality Manager. In 2007, they joined Neocase Software SAS, where they have held roles as a Senior Consultant, Head of Pre-Sales (EMEA), Ingénieur commercial grands comptes, and currently serves as a Regional Sales Director.

Jean-François Mallet's education history includes obtaining a Bachelor's degree in General Studies from Lycée Madame de Staël (Montluçon) in 1982. Prior to that, they attended Lycée Blaise Pascal (Clermont Fd) from 1982 to 1985, specializing in Math. Jean-François then completed their higher education at SUPELEC from 1985 to 1988, earning a degree in Artificial Intelligence and Productics.
