Albert Serra Cardona

Albert Serra Cardona currently serves as Team Lead and Senior Scientist at Neochromosome, Inc. since December 2021. Prior experience includes roles as Associate Research Scientist and Postdoctoral Research Scientist in the Zhang lab at Columbia University Irving Medical Center from July 2016 to November 2021, and a Postdoctoral Research Officer at Mayo Clinic for a brief period in 2016, specializing in Cancer Epigenetics. Albert's academic background includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship and a Ph.D. in Yeast Molecular Biology at UAB - Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona from 2011 to 2016, alongside a Master’s Degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and a Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology from the same institution.
