Carmen Urgiles

Carmen Urgiles is an experienced research professional currently serving as a Research Associate II at Neochromosome, Inc. since May 2021, and previously held roles including Senior Technician at Phosphorus and Molecular Lab Technologist at New Hope Fertility Center. Carmen's expertise encompasses molecular techniques such as PCR and microscopy, particularly with fluorescent and ZEISS ApoTome microscopes. Apart from technical skills, Carmen coordinated the Office of Undergraduate Research at Queens College, managing events and communications, while also gaining research experience in bacteriophage evolutionary ecology and evolutionary genetics across various internships.
