Chuanyu Sun has a diverse background in biostatistics, bioinformatics, and quantitative genetics. Starting as an Assistant Professor at the Yellow Sea Fisheries Research Institute, Chuanyu progressed to roles as a Postdoc at Virginia Commonwealth University, University of Wisconsin-Madison, and USDA-ARS. Prior to their current role as the Associate Director of Biostatistics and Bioinformatics at Neogen Corporation, Chuanyu served as the Director of Quantitative Genetics R&D at ST Genetics.
Chuanyu Sun completed a Master's degree in Statistical Genetics at China Agricultural University from 2004 to 2006. Chuanyu then pursued a Ph.D. in the same field at both China Agricultural University (2006-2009) and Aarhus University (2008-2009).
