Tony Lupo

Tony Lupo is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the technical service domain of the food safety industry, currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors at A2LA since January 2025. Lupo's tenure at Neogen Corporation, beginning in July 1998, includes roles such as Senior Director of Technical Service and Director of Technical Service, where responsibilities encompassed technical training for sales teams and end users, budget management, and strategic planning. With a strong foundation in immunoassay and enzymatic assay development from previous roles as a Research Scientist at Oxford Biomedical Research and a Manager of Chemistry Technical Service at Neogen, Lupo has contributed to scientific discussions and authored numerous publications. Lupo also shares expertise as a Guest Lecturer in the Master of Science in Food Safety Program at Michigan State University and has held various leadership positions within AOAC INTERNATIONAL from Treasurer to Past President. Lupo earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Oakland University.
