Ryan Bender

Ryan Bender possesses extensive experience in the field of genomic analysis and molecular operations. Currently serving as Head of Genomic Analysis and previously as VP of Pharma Services Molecular Operations and Director of Molecular Operations at NeoGenomics Laboratories since January 2017, Ryan has a robust background in molecular genetics. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Molecular Genetics at Caris Diagnostics from July 2009 to August 2016, and positions at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Harvard Medical School as a Postdoctoral Fellow and Clinical Molecular Genetics Fellow, respectively. Ryan earned a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Vanderbilt University, where studies were conducted from 2002 to 2007, and a B.S. in Biotechnology with a minor in Chemistry from Niagara University between 1999 and 2002.
