Dr Vijay Gopal

Dr Vijay Gopal has a diverse work experience in various industries. Dr Vijay currently serves as the Director at Terra Delta Limited and as the Chief Technology Officer at NeoGreen Hydrogen Corp. In previous roles, they worked as a Partner at ERM: Environmental Resources Management, where they led and managed a team of consultants providing support to financial institutions on ESG and decarbonization matters. Dr Vijay also served as a Transactions Associate Director at Arup, where they focused on sustainable and low carbon energy transition projects. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Strategic M&A Advisor at DNV GL, providing due diligence and risk advisory services in the energy sector. Dr Vijay Gopal has also held positions as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Surrey and as a PhD Researcher at Rolls Royce/University of Surrey. Dr Vijay began their career as an R&D Trainee Materials Engineer at Tyco Electronics Raychem GmbH, where they contributed to problem-solving and quality control projects.

Dr Vijay Gopal holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Turbomachinery from the University of Surrey. Prior to their doctoral studies, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the same university. Additionally, Dr Gopal attended St. Xavier's College in Mumbai, although the specific degree and field of study are unknown.
