Priti Patel

Priti Patel has an extensive and diverse work experience in the medical field. Priti is currently the Chief Medical Officer at Neoleukin Therapeutics since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at AstraZeneca as the Vice President of Hematology from 2019 to 2021. Patel also held multiple roles at Acerta Pharma B.V. (A member of the AstraZeneca Group), including Executive Director- Head of Clinical Development from 2018 to 2021 and Senior Medical Director from 2015 to 2021. Before joining AstraZeneca, they worked as a Medical Director at Onyx Pharmaceuticals, Inc., an Amgen subsidiary, from 2011 to 2015. Patel began their career at Stanford Health Care, where they specialized in Hematology-Oncology from 2008 to 2011. Priti also served as Chief Resident from 2007 to 2008 and completed their Internal Medicine Residency from 2004 to 2007.

Priti Patel holds a Master of Science (MS) degree from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Priti also earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Public Health from The Johns Hopkins University. Additionally, they obtained a Medical Doctor (MD) degree from The Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at The University of Vermont.
