Dr. Susan Beck

Dr. Susan Beck has over 15 years of experience in various roles related to science, research, and product development in the nutrition and health industry. Dr. Susan currently serves as the Chief Science Officer at NeoLife International since December 2021 and previously held the position of International Vice-President of Product Innovation from September 2020 to December 2021.

Before joining NeoLife, Dr. Beck worked at OLLY PBC as the Vice President of Product Development from November 2019 to July 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Vice President of Science and Research at goop.com from June 2018 to June 2019.

Dr. Beck also worked at Threshold Enterprises as the Chief Science Officer from December 2011 to February 2017 and as Director of R&D from September 2010 to December 2011. Dr. Susan held the role of Vice President of Research & Development at NUTRANEXT from February 2017 to August 2017.

Dr. Susan'searlier experiences include working as the Lead Scientist at Nestle USA-Beverage Division from January 2007 to September 2010 and as the Director of Technical Services at Draco Natural Products from January 2005 to January 2007.

In addition to their industry experience, Dr. Beck has a background in nutritional innovations, medical research, and acupuncture & TCM, starting from January 2006. Dr. Susan also has their own consulting firm, Health Detectives Consulting, where they focus on personalized nutrition.

Dr. Susan Beck holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Nutritional Sciences with a specialization in Medical Research from Union Institute & University. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including being a California Licensed Acupuncturist from the California Acupuncture Board, a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) from the American Nutrition Association® (ANA), and completing a course in Clinical Trial Design and Management from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Dr. Susan has also been recognized as a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine by The National Certification Commission For Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
