David Simandjuntak ديفد سيمو

David Simandjuntak, also known as Simo, is an accomplished operations and safety executive with extensive experience in various industries, including mining, construction, and environmental safety. Presently serving as the Director of Operations and the Director for Environmental, Health & Safety and Regulatory Compliance at NEOM since April 2022, David previously held significant roles at Maaden, including Executive Senior Consultant and HSES Director for the Ma'aden Wa'ad Al-Shamal Phosphate Company. David's career also includes leadership positions at Fluor Corporation, Samsung C&T Corporation, Jacobs, and several others, emphasizing health, safety, and environmental management in large-scale projects. Academically, David holds a Master of Business Administration from AGSM @ UNSW Business School, a Diploma of Occupational Health and Safety from The University of Western Australia, and a Bachelor of Science in Critical Care Nursing from the University of Sydney, along with a music scholarship from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
