Jordi Naval

Jordi Naval is an accomplished leader in the biotech sector, currently serving as Sector Head Biotech at NEOM since October 2023, focusing on transforming the Neom Vision into a thriving biotech ecosystem. Prior to this, Jordi was the Chief Executive Officer of Hervolution Therapeutics from February 2021 to October 2023, driving advancements in immuno-oncology. As a Co-Founder and Board Director at AELIX Therapeutics, Jordi contributed to pioneering HIV eradication strategies through innovative vaccine technologies. Under Jordi's leadership as CEO at Biocat, significant foreign investments and partnerships were established in the Catalonia biotech cluster. Jordi's entrepreneurial spirit is further demonstrated through co-founding several companies, including Genocosmetics Lab and Anaxomics. Educational achievements include ongoing studies at Copenhagen Business School in boardwork and corporate governance, complemented by a Master’s degree in Biochemistry and Biotechnology from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
