Michael Silver has extensive experience in the food industry, particularly in bakery businesses. Michael began their career at Salem Baking Company, where they served as President from 1992 to 2007. Michael then joined Neomonde Baking Company in 2008 as Director of Operations, overseeing their wholesale bakery business. In 2018, they briefly worked as Director of Operations at Big Spoon Roasters before returning to Neomonde Baking Company in 2019 in the same role.
Michael Silver attended the University of Washington from 1972 to 1977, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology.
