Marina Guryeva

CEO at Neon Labs

Marina Guryeva is the CEO of Neon Labs. Marina was previously the Director of Commun from December 2019 to December 2020. Her role at Commun was to enable people by providing them with tools to govern and manage their communities, monetise their activities, first on social media, later everywhere. Marina has also held the position of Director of Innovations Office at National Research University - Higher School of Economics from January 2015 to December 2016. In this role, they were responsible for venture fund management, start-ups development, and programs development. From January 2010 to December 2011, Marina worked as a referent for the Ministry for Economic Development of the Russian Federation where they were responsible for industrial and investment policy development, event management, and laws enforcement. Marina has also served as the Director of Cybercoredev from February 2021 to November 2021 and as the Director of cyberFund from January 2015 to December 2020. Additionally, they were the Head of Strategic Planning and Investments Office at the Department of Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship of Moscow from January 2011 to December 2013. Marina began their career as a consultant (marketing, PR) in January 2009 and worked freelance until December 2009.

Marina Guryeva holds a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD and a diploma in radioelectronics from Vyatka State University. Marina also participated in an exchange program in business administration at the University of Saarland.
