Hau-yu Wong has worked in a variety of roles since 2006. In 2006, they were a Research Assistant at the Human-Computer Interaction Institute. Two years later, in 2008, they became a Research Associate at Carnegie Mellon University. In 2016, they were an Administrative Assistant at Nanosphere. In 2017, they began working as a Frontend Developer at CDW, where they led frontend development for product pages on CDW's ecommerce website, collaborated with third-party vendors, wrote unit and UI automation tests, and managed multiple projects simultaneously. In 2018, they moved to Neon One, where they held the roles of Engineering Manager and Front End Developer.
Hau-yu Wong attended Carnegie Mellon University from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology & International Relations. In 2007, they participated in a Summer Study Abroad program at Shanghai International Studies University. From 2015 to 2016, they attended Carnegie Mellon University again, this time for Human Computer Interaction. In November 2015, they also obtained a certification in Shaping up with Angular.js from Code School.
