Allanah Elster

Allanah Elster is a skilled Publicity Coordinator at NEON since August 2023, with prior experience as a Publicity Consultant and Intern. Elster has contributed as a Film Staff Writer for the Columbia Daily Spectator from September 2021 to March 2024, covering film premieres and interviewing filmmakers, while also serving on the Diversity and Equity Committee. Previous internships include roles in Production and Development at Archer Gray and FilmNation Entertainment, where detailed script coverage and project research were key responsibilities. Elster has also worked as a Scripted Development Intern at Three Things Productions, a Director of Photography and Youth Mentor at Chicago Summer Stories, a Public Relations Intern at Glenbrook High School District 225, and served as a Documentary Director for Apple. Elster holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Media Studies from Columbia University and previously studied Cinema and Media Studies at the University of Southern California.
