Alexandre Filgueira

Alexandre Filgueira has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over multiple roles and companies.

Alexandre started their career in 2010 as a technician at Cesiga S.A., where they provided technical support and repaired software and hardware issues. In the same year, they worked as the main developer at MIPPO.

In 2012, Alexandre founded and led the "Antergos Linux" project, an internationally recognized GNU/Linux distribution focused on basic users. Alexandre utilized Bash scripting and Python (Python + GTK) for development and also worked on small projects in NodeJS.

From 2013 to 2014, they worked at Ticket Comunicación as the Technical Chief Developer, leading a small group of developers in a WordPress-focused agency. Alexandre also served as a full-stack developer and worked with PHP (WordPress, CodeIgniter) for both front-end and back-end development.

In 2015, Alexandre joined Altimea as a Cloud Engineer, Tech Lead, and Full Stack Developer. Alexandre managed different development teams and played roles as a software and infrastructure architect based on Amazon AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure. Alexandre successfully deployed various projects using Amazon AWS as the cloud service.

From 2016 to 2018, they founded and operated lostrego.io, a professional service offering advanced performance studies for web applications and APIs.

From 2017 to 2019, Alexandre worked at Joinnus as a Cloud Engineer, SRE, and NodeJS Developer, responsible for cloud architecture, platform redesign, and adoption of serverless and containerization designs.

Since 2019, they have been working at Neonomics as a DevOps Engineer and currently holds the position of Head of DevOps.

Alexandre completed this program in 2010. Following this, they attended Universidad de la Coruña from 2010 to 2012, obtaining a Grado degree in ingeniería informática.
