Maria Olson

Maria Olson has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Their most recent role was as the Vice President of Operations Excellence at Neovia Logistics, where they led the restructuring of the Global Operations Excellence team and managed a team of over 60 managers and analysts. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Director - Global Operations Excellence at Neovia Logistics, where they led the enterprise COVID-19 Pandemic Action Plan and played a key role in improving operational project execution. Maria also served as the Director of Global Operations Excellence at Neovia Logistics, where they focused on improving operational governance and resource alignment. Before joining Neovia Logistics, Maria worked at Caterpillar Inc., where they held various roles including Supply Chain Manager and DMAIC / DMEDI Black Belt. In these roles, they led supply chain process improvements, achieved significant cost savings, and implemented DMAIC methodology throughout the company. Overall, Maria has had a successful career in operations excellence and supply chain management, having demonstrated strong leadership and project management skills.

Maria Olson attended Indiana University Bloomington from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. Their degree focused on Computer and Information Sciences/Support Services, Operations Management, and International Business. In 2008, they obtained a Caterpillar Lean 6 Sigma Certified Black Belt certification from Caterpillar Inc.
