Carlo Barone

Frontend Developer and UX Designer at Neovici

Carlo Barone has a diverse range of work experience in the fields of frontend development, UX design, and user experience research. In 2018, they worked as a Project Intern at the Nexa Center for Internet & Society, where they were responsible for designing and implementing the website. From 2019 to 2022, they worked at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, initially as a User Experience Researcher and later as a Teacher Assistant and Studio Manager. During this time, they were involved in research projects and published a research paper on sonification techniques. In 2022, they started working as a self-employed Frontend Developer and UX Researcher, taking on freelance projects and collaborating part-time with a startup. Currently, they are employed at Neovici as a Frontend Developer and UX Designer.

Carlo Barone pursued a Bachelor's degree in Cinema and Media Engineering from Politecnico di Torino from 2015 to 2019. After completing their undergraduate studies, they enrolled in the Master's Programme in Interactive Media Technology at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, specializing in Sonic Track. Carlo embarked on this academic journey in 2019 and is expected to graduate in 2022.
