Daniel S. Gimbel

Daniel Gimbel is a financial consultant with over 30 years of experience in the industry. Daniel currently serves as the Principal and Senior Consultant at NEPC, but they have also held positions at notable companies such as Charles Schwab and E.F. Hutton.

Gimbel’s career began in 1987 when they joined E.F. Hutton as a financial consultant. In this role, they were responsible for providing investment advice and guidance to clients. Daniel remained with the company for five years before moving to Charles Schwab in 1992.

At Charles Schwab, Gimbel served as the Director of Corporate Sponsorships. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the investment portfolios of players and staff of the PGA TOUR, as well as the PGA Tour Player Retirement Plan, Employee 401k, and PGA Tour Reserves. Daniel also took on responsibility for marketing related to the PGA Tour, US Ski and Snowboard Assoc, and San Francisco Giants sponsorships.

In 2006, Gimbel left Charles Schwab to join CTC | myCFO as an Advisor for Investment Advisory Services. In this role, they focused on creating investment policies, recommending strategic asset allocations, selecting and implementing managers and funds for optimal portfolio performance for clients of CTC | myCFO. Daniel remained with the company for over 10 years before joining NEPC in 2017.

Gimbel’s experience and expertise has made him a valuable asset to NEPC and has helped him build a successful career in the financial industry.

Daniel S. Gimbel holds a B.S. in Business Administration/Finance from the University of Southern California and an IMCA from The Wharton School. Daniel also holds a certification from the Investments & Wealth Institute as a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA).

They are on a team with James E. Reichert - Partner, Senior Director of Portfolio Strategy, Carolyn Smith - Partner, and Christine A. Loughlin - Partner. Their manager is Michael P. Manning, Managing Partner.
