Melsen C.

Melsen C. has extensive work experience in the finance and accounting field. Melsen started their career in 2005 at ProCredit Bank Albania as an MIS specialist and gradually progressed to roles such as MIS senior specialist, MIS and Reporting coordinator, MIS and Reporting Manager, and Deputy Finance Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for managing and supervising financial and operational reporting, analyzing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulations. In 2018, they joined Neptun shpk as the Chief Financial Officer, where they oversaw the accounting team, managed internal control processes, and tracked the profitability of investment projects.

Melsen C. completed a Master's Degree in Finance from the University of Tirana, which they pursued from 2001 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, Melsen C. has obtained several certifications to further enhance their financial knowledge and skills. These include a Certificate in International Financial Reporting Standards with a special focus on IAS 12, 16, 36, 37, 38, and 40 from the AIEx - Austrian Institute of Excellence, obtained in September 2021. Melsen also completed a training course on "Basel II and Beyond" from ATTF Luxembourg in October 2015. Melsen C. holds a ProCredit Senior Banker Certificate from ProCredit Academy GbmH, Germany, achieved in July 2015. Moreover, they obtained the Certificate in International Financial Reporting (CertIFR-ACCA) from ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) in February 2012. Melsen C. also holds the title of ProCredit Banker, which they received from the Eastern Europe Regional Academy, Macedonia, in May 2011. Prior to that, they completed an intensive qualification course about National Accounting Standards from the Accounting and Fiscal Training Center in Albania in June 2008. Finally, Melsen C. completed an intensive course in Bank Management and Stock exchange from the Institute of Strategic Studies and Training in Albania in December 2007.
