Matthew Melvin

Matthew Melvin has an extensive aviation career spanning over a decade, serving in various roles including pilot and mechanic. Currently a C-12 (King Air 200) pilot and UH-60 Blackhawk maintenance test pilot for the Army National Guard since October 2008, Matthew also performs contract maintenance on USFS SD3-60 Sherpa and Beachcraft King Air series aircraft with Neptune Aviation Services Inc. Prior experience includes serving as lead mechanic at Empire Airlines, where maintenance was conducted on FedEx aircraft, and as a field service representative for M7 Aerospace, supporting the Army National Guard's C-23 Sherpa fleet. Additional roles include aircraft mechanic at Peninsula Airways and sales at CUTCO Cutlery. Matthew holds a Bachelor's degree in Aviation/Airway Management and Operations from the University of Alaska Anchorage and an Associate's degree in Airframe Mechanics and Aircraft Maintenance Technology from Westwood College.
