Jim Albert

Founder & Chairman at Neptune Flood

Jim co-founded Neptune in 2016 to change the way America buys flood insurance, using data analytics and extreme ease of use to make a critical insurance product more accessible to the market. Before Neptune, as Chief Information Officer of Bankers Insurance, Jim led the technology and data analytics team at this Florida-based insurer. He also managed and upgraded the technical platform, supporting the WYO flood product via the NFIP as well as a proof-of-concept private flood program. Before Bankers, Jim held roles as President of the national technology consulting firm Idea Integration, Managing Director of five brands in the UK and Europe, and many leadership roles with AT&T and Bell Labs.

Jim earned an electrical engineering degree at Vanderbilt University, and additional management, leadership, and financial education at Cornell University, Wharton, and Insead.
