Michelle James

Michelle James has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Michelle started their career as a Call Center Telemarketer at Des Moines Register and Tribune from 1987 to 1989. Michelle then worked as a Junior Clothing Buyer at Younkers from 1993 to 1994.

From 1994 onwards, Michelle joined News America Marketing, where they held various positions. Michelle began as an Account Coordinator, consulting with the CPG community on marketing plans and executing media campaigns. Michelle then became an Account Director, managing the selling efforts of CPGs in the Chicago and Wisconsin areas. Michelle later transitioned to a Senior Account Director role, where they were responsible for selling efforts in the San Francisco territory and managing the largest CPG account in Los Angeles. Michelle then became a Group Sales Manager, leading a team of Account Directors and Sales Support staff. Michelle successfully delivered against sales goals and led the launch of the Smartsource.

In 2020, Michelle joined Neptune Retail Solutions as a Vice President, General Sales Manager. Michelle utilized insights and consumer behavioral data to develop effective ways to reach the consumer and drive purchases. Michelle demonstrated a history of developing successful sales teams and delivering against goals.

Currently, Michelle holds the position of VP. Western Regional Sales Manager at Neptune Retail Solutions. Michelle manages a team of Sales Directors covering the Western United States, contributing to the company's revenue growth.

Michelle James attended the University of Kansas from 1989 to 1990, but their field of study is unknown. Michelle then went on to study at the University of Iowa from 1990 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design.
