Daniel Werner

Daniel Werner is the Associate Director at NERA Economic Consulting. Daniel has over four years of experience as an Economist, Senior Manager, and Analyst. Daniel has a strong background in financial and economic analysis, damage calculations, econometric modeling, and statistical analysis. Daniel is skilled in presenting complex information to various audiences in a clear and concise manner.

Daniel Werner graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in economics in 2015. During their time at university, they worked as a Graduate Researcher and gained valuable experience in conducting research, writing reports, and presenting findings. This experience helped to prepare him for their career as an Economist.

Daniel Werner obtained their Doctor of Philosophy in Economics (Agricultural & Resource) from the University of Maryland, their Master of Science in Economics (Agricultural & Resource) from the University of Maryland, and their Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics and Environmental Studies from UC Santa Barbara. Daniel also participated in an Education Abroad Program at the University of Cambridge and completed a NetMath Postgraduate Continuing Education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Daniel Werner is also a Certified Public Accountant, having received certification from the California Board of Accountancy.

They work with James Mellsop - Managing Director, Federico Sciacca - Consultant, and Scott Meadow - Affiliated Academic. Their manager is Lawrence Wu, President.
